I am no expert esp when you are the chef, but I read that oats are good breakfast. My husband really believes in it.
I usually have it ( 3 tablespoon oats)cooked 2 min in the micro wave oven, with 3 or 4 spoons of home made yogurt, 1 table spoon of raisins, pumpkin seeds, and cashew nuts. I eat it around 8am.
At morning tea at 10.30am, when all my mates at work eat something , I don't feel hungry. I have lunch at 12.30pm.
My weight remains constant, a bit overweight by Chinese standards, but small compared to a Maori or Caucasian.
First thing in the morning, I take a warm drink of water with one tablespoon spoon of apple cider and one table spoon of "Live" honey. Been doing this for years.
